How big is Granada?
Granada has around 260.000 inhabitants, ranking as the 13th-largest urban area of Spain. A large amount of people coming from outside to study in Granada.
How can I get to Granada?
Granada is easily reached by train and coach connections arriving directly to the Congress Palace. There are many flights to Granada airport from national destinations such as Malaga, Madrid and Barcelona, and internationally from Paris, Amsterdam, Germany, Italy and the UK. Direct flights from the USA are available with several airlines that serve Malaga airport (for Andalusia) as well as Madrid and Barcelona.
How to get around Granada?
Granada is extremely congested and also compact. Once you're in the district of your choice, you can walk to most points of interest. On foot is about the only way to get around most neighborhoods, especially the hilly Albaicín and the Alhambra. Driving is not the best option in Granada. Taxis are reasonably priced.
What's the weather like in Granada?
The weather and climate in Granada is very sunny, warm and enjoyable during the whole year, with mild winters and hot summers.


Since when does the school exist?
We're teaching Spanish only for more than 10 years. We opened our doors in 2000.
Where are the students from?
Students come to Granada from all over the world (most of them from European countries) Germany, The Netherlands, Korea, Austria, United Kindom, Australia, Sweden, United States, Belgium, etc.
How big is the school?
Our school is small to medium sized. We offer 6 spacious and bright classrooms, library, a city centre location close to all facilities. We have full facilities for our disabled students.
Is there Internet in the school?
We have 3 computers with Internet which you can use free of charge. There's also free WIFI in the school building.


How can I know if there are still places available?
We can always guarantee availability if we receive your booking and down payment at the latest 2 weeks prior to the start date. If you want to start within 2 weeks, please contact us for availability.
Can I stay for just 1 week?
Yes, we are one of the very few schools in Granada which accept students for only one week (but your language course will be more successful if you stay longer).
When does the course start?
The course starts on the Monday of any week you wish (except for absolute beginners, check out the "courses" section for start dates).
Can I change the group if I feel that the level is not right for me?
Yes, then we'll have a chat with the teacher and look for the best solution for you.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes, on the last day of your course you will receive a certificate indicating the time spent at school, the progress made and the level achieved.
What's the class size?
The average number of students per class in Granada is 6, the maximum is 8.


What is the distance between accommodation and the school?
All accommodations are within a 15 minutes walking distance of the school. Bed sheets are available, but you should bring your own towels.
Can I change my accommodation if I´m not satisfied?
Yes, as long as we have something similar available and when you have a reasonable motivation.
Is there a washing machine in the accommodation?
Do I need bed linen for the shared apartments?
No, bed linen is provided but you should bring your own towels.
When can I first get into my room, when do I have to leave?
Arrival day is the Sunday before you course starts and departure day is the Saturday after the end of your course.
Could I arrive some days before the beginning of the course?
Only as an exception and in case we have rooms available. If not, we can recommend you a hostel for these extra-nights.

Enrolment and payment

Can I book for next week?
In order to guarantee yourself a place in one of our courses and accommodations, you should enrol at the latest 2 weeks before the first day of the course. If you would like to start within 3 weeks time or less, please contact us and we can check if there
How can I book a course?
You can book clicking the 'book' button. Now follow the steps of the booking system. For support you can call us between 9.00h and 17.30. Or you can send an email with the request to call you at a time that suits you best.
How does the payment work?
You pay a down payment of € 100 to lingua during your enrolment. We accept credit cards, bank transfer, paypal, etc. The remaining amount (course, accommodation and airport transfer) has to be paid on the first course day at the school.
How do I receive a confirmation?
You will receive a confirmation of your booking by e-mail. Then you will have access to a personal lingua page where you can find all information necessary.


Do you take care of the flight?
You should book your own flight. We can give you advice about good or cheap airlines to Malaga or Granada. Please contact us for inquiries.
What is an airport transfer?
You can book the airport transfer ahead. An employee of the school will pick you up at the airport of Malaga or Granada and drive you to your accommodation or directly to the school. You can find the price under the section "prices".
